Arise Mighty Warrior
This is the new look of ‘Dead Men Rising’, the book that launched Champions of Honor ministry to men. We took a huge step this year by translating the book into Spanish and also made the Spanish version less USA and more ‘Americas’ for release in the Latin and South American markets. ‘Dead Men Rising’ did not translate well, so we renamed the book ‘Arise Mighty Warrior’. While we were at it we decided to change the cover and the image below (after the jump) is what resulted. The English version will be released in 2012 in print.
‘Arise Mighty Warrior’ is now available on I-bookstore, Kindle, Nook, and Sony Reader. It is also available in Spanish both in print on our web site and I-bookstore, Kindle, Nook and Sony Reader.
We will be launching the Spanish edition in November at the Dallas Lions Roar meeting of Christian Men’s Network November 4-6th and in Ecuador Nov 11-15, 2011 at Centro ‘Christiano de Cuenca’ conference with Pastor Jimmy Cornejo. Other speakers include Ed Young, Jr. and Brian Houston. It will be an exciting event and launch.
I also want to announce we have a new book by Paul Louis Cole, President of Christian Men’s Network, called ‘Daring’ and it is available on our web store. It is an exciting book with the same power as Ed Cole’s books, Paul’s father. Our small groups have read it in our church and loved it. I highly recommend it and it can be used at any tier level of Champion’s training as a qualified book.
Paul Louis Cole and Chuck Brewster launched the “Florida Uprising” tour this summer and had the vision to bring the Uprising event to over 100 cities in Florida in 2012 and to other parts of the nation. (There will be an Uprising promo video on the web soon.)
Uprising is a time when men are challenged to rise up to what God has called them toward. It can happen in your church! We are also beginning to schedule our 2012 Champions speaking venues and would welcome anyone to contact us if you are interested in having Chuck come and minister to your men and/or church.
Finally, you cannot look at the headlines without seeing more stories of attacks or violence in churches across the nation. As a retired U S Secret Service Agent, Chuck has a unique ability to share insight with churches and pastors about safety issues that should be of prime importance to every leader in any church.
Chuck and another retired Secret Service colleague have developed a one of a kind seminar for churches to help them provide a safe environment for their people, property, and pastors. Secret Service agents have a unique ability to profile human behavior patterns that can predict violent behavior patterns. Chuck has also been involved in ministry for the past 14 years and understands the complicated balance churches need to provide that environment.
